Yvonne is a licensed, professional psychologist with broad experience across a range of client issues and age groups. She is passionate about supporting people to create positive change and transform their lives. This is done through gaining a holistic understanding of the person, recognising the impact of their past, empowerment through identifying strengths, and utilising evidence-based treatments and interventions.
Yvonne has a special interest in supporting women through major life transitions and has many years of experience working with highly complex clients including in the disability sector (NDIS registered Behaviour Support Practitioner).

She has extensive experience as a psychologist working with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, and complex trauma, conditions that so often accompany disability. With a focus on improving quality of life for her clients, she works to increase access to community, engagement with service providers, and strengthen family functioning. She also provides compassionate psychological support to carers experiencing overwhelm, exhaustion and carer burnout.

Behaviour Support encompasses understanding complex and challenging behaviours of concern, seeking to identify the underlying motivations, environmental issues, and unmet needs, that lead to such behaviour. Working with evidence-based techniques and strategies, Yvonne builds holistic, person-centred behaviour support plans that focus on prevention, environmental management, response strategies, and building on the existing strengths of individuals, families, carers, staff, and support structures surrounding the person.
